This 5-day safari starts with Amboseli National Park, home of elephants, on the slopes of the second-largest mountain, Kilimanjaro, where we enjoy views of the “white peak mountain”. Then, we proceed to Lake Nakuru, well known for its pink flamingoes. We then proceed to Masai Mara Reserve for 2 nights, where we enjoy watching the migration of wildebeests and exploring the Big 5 wildlife animals.
Our professional guides pick up you from your locations and drive for 4 hours from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. You will check in at the hotel, have lunch, and refresh for an afternoon game drive in the park as they enjoy the Amboseli landscape and nature. It is the home of Africa’s elephant, crowned by beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro with a snow peak. You will enjoy seeing large herds of elephants, pink flamingoes, lions, buffaloes, wild dogs, hyenas, various bird species, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles in the swamps and the lake.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at the hotel for dinner as they watch elephants shower in the mud and quench their thirst.
You will go for early drive from Amboseli National Park then drive out towards Lake Nakuru National Park for 5 to 6 hours. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment.
Lake Nakuru National Park is great for bird watching, especially the many pink flamingos. It also has waterbucks, impalas and hippopotamuses. It hosts 4 members of the Big Five (lions, rhinos, buffaloes and leopards). The park is also home to other animal species like giraffes, hippos, and warthogs.
After an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, travelers will drive for 4 to 5 hours towards Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is well known for its beautiful geographical region and natural habitat to many species of wildlife, including the five big cats, herbivorous and omnivorous animals and different kinds of vegetation. You will check in at the lodge, refresh and enjoy a community visit for a cultural experience with dances.Dinner and overnight lodge/camp.
After an early breakfast,you will go on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara Reserve with a packed lunch for a picnic. You will explore the river that sustains life on the sometimes brutal plains of the Serengeti, supporting a range of migratory mammals like wildebeests, giraffes, and zebras. The Masai Mara is also the final destination for impressive numbers of animals during the dry season’s great migration, the largest known migration of wildlife on the planet.Dinner and overnight lodge/camp.
After breakfast, you will check out of their tented camp and drive for 5 to 6 hours from Masai Mara towards Nairobi. They will make a short stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the escarpment views from the slopes of Mount Longonot.
