Overview

7-day budget adventure to Kenya national parks and game reserves. Mara is known for almost guaranteed sightings of the Big 5: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. It is also popular for the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest which occurs from July to October. Lake Nakuru is home to a huge population of pink flamingos and 400 species of birds; while Lake Naivasha is known for epic boat rides and viewing of hipposAmboseli is host to the large herds of elephants and most especially with its stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi, we will pick you up and leave for Masai Mara. We'll drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Have lunch at our camp and relax before departing for the evening game drive. Other animals in the park include the Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, Topi, and both Thompsons and Grant gazelles.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 02 Masai Mara National Reserve

After the morning breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. The search for great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is, for this reason, a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha

Breakfast, have an optional Maasai village and then depart for Lake Naivasha arriving late in the afternoon. Lunch and then for an amazing boat trip where you will be able to see many species of birds and water animals e.g. hippos and have good pictures of them.

Optional tour to Hells Gate.

Dinner and your overnight stay are at the hotel.

Day 04 Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park

You will have breakfast at the lodge and then head to Lake Nakuru National park. Arrive in at the hotel, take lunch and proceed for afternoon game drive.

This is home to hundreds of rhinos both black and white, and other wildlife.
After the game drive, you will head back to the hotel, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 05 Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, leave for Amboseli National Park with a hot lunch at Nairobi. Arrive at Amboseli National Park late in the evening with a late evening game drive if time allows. Amboseli is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the Camp.

Day 06 Amboseli Full Day Game Drives

Have an early morning breakfast, after which you'll leave with a packed lunch for the full-day game drive. You will spend time in the park in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebras, giraffes, hippos and big elephants with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 7 Amboseli National Park -Nairobi

Have an early morning game drive in search of animals killing and eating. Later, come back to the camp for breakfast then check out. You'll leave for Nairobi with a picnic lunch en route. In Nairobi, you will be dropped at your hotel or at the airport for your return flight.
