Samburu is renowned for its rare species of fauna known as the ‘Samburu five’. These five particular animals are usually only found north of the equator – the long necked gerenuk, the reticulated giraffe which is characterized by its liver-colored geometric patches defined by narrow white lines, the Grevy’s zebra which is smaller than the common zebra and looks more like a horse, the beisa Oryx with black horizontal stripe running across its lower flank and the Somali ostrich males which have blue-grey necks and thighs. Ol Pejeta is home to the Big Five, Big Cats and wide host of wildlife species.
After breakfast leave Nairobi in the morning to arrive in Ol Pejeta in time for lunch. Take lunch at 1. 00p.m then spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing in the gardens. In the evening enjoy a romantic sundowner.

The second day, Enjoy a romantic bush breakfast and proceed for a Full Day Game drive Inside the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, proceed for an early morning game drive and later check out around 1000hrs enroute to Samburu. Lunch, rest and later proceed for an evening game drive

After the special bush breakfast at 8.00am leave for a full morning game drive. Animals commonly seen are elephants, lions, cheetahs, Gravy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, Gerenuks, Onyx, gazelles, Dik-dik and water bucks.
The park is plentiful with crocodiles that bask on muddy riverbanks and velvet monkeys that frolic in the late afternoon sun. A camel-back safari is a specialty in Samburu, as well as a cultural visit to the Samburu people who depend on their cattle, goat, sheep and donkey can be arranged.
Return to the lodge for lunch followed by swimming games and relaxation. In the evening take a game drive till sunset then return to the lodge to freshen up for dinner and overnight stay.

After Breakfast, early morning game drive and check out and return to Nairobi . Lunch stopover in Nanyuki. Drive back to Nairobi late in evening.
