Overview

Explore three major parks in Kenya, Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Amboseli is the best park to get close to the free-ranging elephants, have spectacular views of the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, and get the best snapshots of the unique African sunset and sunrise. On the other hand, Lake Nakuru is famous for hosting millions of greater and lesser flamingos, highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, and black and white rhinos. Finally, you will head to Masai Mara, probably the best reserve in Africa, renowned for its annual wildebeest migration; this experience is also known as the 7th wonder of the world.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your safari will start with a pick-up at JKIA or your Nairobi hotel. You will then drive to Amboseli National Park.
You will arrive at Amboseli National Park and check the lodge/camp in time for lunch. Freshen up and have hot lunch.

Later on you will proceed for an evening game drive.
This is the best park to get close to the free-ranging elephants, over 1600 elephants, and have spectacular views of the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. Also, you will have an opportunity to get the best snapshots of the unique African sunset and sunrise.

After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge/camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Amboseli National Park

Today the program is very flexible; you have two options to choose from:

Option one: You may opt to have an early morning game drive, return for a hot breakfast, freshen up and spend the rest of the midmorning at leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive. Finally, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Option two: You may have an early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive with packed lunch. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast you will head to Lake Nakuru National Park.

On your way, you will have a stopover at the Great Rift valley viewpoint for a panorama view of the escarpment.

You will then proceed and arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. Check-in at the lodge/hotel. Freshen up and proceed for a hot lunch. Have some rest, later in the evening head for an evening game drive.

This park is renowned for hosting thousands, sometimes millions, of flamingos, hundreds of both black and white rhinos, and highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Also, it has the best scenery and opportunity to see Makalia Waterfall.

After the game drive, you will head to the lodge/hotel to freshen up and proceed for a freshly prepared hot dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

After having breakfast, you will exit the lodge/hotel with a morning game drive. Later, you will head to Masai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves.

You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. Check-in at lodge/Camp and freshen up. Have some time to rest after having some hot lunch.

Later on proceed for an evening game drive.

Together with Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, Masai Mara Reserve forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible, and spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.

Masai Mara is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October. Also known as the great wildebeest migration or the 7th Wonder of the world.

After the game drive, we will head back to the lodge/camp to freshen up and enjoy dinner. Have your overnight.

Day 5 Masai Mara National Reserve

Have breakfast and exit the lodge/camp with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara Reserve, searching for the Big Five and other animals.

For safari taking place from July to October, you will have the privilege to witness the 7th Wonder of the World, the annual wildebeest migration, especially while crossing the crocodile-loaded River Mara.

Day 6 Masai Mara National Reserve

Today’s program is also very flexible; you can choose between three options.

Option 1: Have breakfast and exit the lodge/camp with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara Reserve, searching for the Big Five and trailing wildebeest.

Option 2: You may opt to have an early morning game drive in search of the big cat and the killings, return for breakfast, freshen up and spend the rest of the midmorning at leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later, have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive searching for Big Five, wildebeest and other animals.

You may also choose an optional hot air balloon ride in the early morning. You will be picked up from your lodge/camp and transferred to the balloon launch site. The experience takes about an hour. Later return to the lodge/camp via Masai village for lunch. In the evening proceed for an afternoon game drive.
Finally, you will have dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 7 Nairobi - Masai Mara

After breakfast we check out of the lodge/camp and head back to Nairobi to arrive in the evening. Lunch enroute. Drop off at your hotel or Airport
